Cupping is an ancient form of Chinese healing dating back thousands of years. In this class you will learn the history, theory, and techniques you’ll need to add extremely effective cupping therapies to your practice.
Cupping Basics for the Massage Therapist, Day One
This is the first class in a series using Silicone Cups for Negative Pressure Treatments. Students will learn the proper ways to utilize these wonderful tools. Therapeutic Applications include all sizes of cups, treatments for the Back, glutes, legs Arms, hands, feet and legs, special treatments for the face and neck. Let your massage intuition go to work and develop patterns that will work on your specific client needs. Learn safety guidelines and cup placement.
Cupping Basics for the Massage Therapist, Day Two
This is the second class in a series using Magnet Cups for negative pressure treatments. Students will learn how to use the more rigid magnet cups. Students learn to do “parking” treatments for pain management and how these tools can help clients who need deep work but cannot tolerate heavy massage pressure. Discussions on magnet therapies and how to utilize different strengthens will be discussed. Students will learn how to add-on treatments for more income and less stress to their hands.
