Ambient Sound/Sound Therapy (Gongs & Singing Bowls)

Ambient Sound/Sound Therapy (Gongs & Singing Bowls)

"We are vibrational beings. We inhabit a vibrational universe. We have the appearance of solidity, but we aren't really solid. This is a scientific fact." - Panache Desai

Our entire world is made up of energy; Energy that is original vibration. Our bodies are all made of that same energy/vibration. Illness and dysfunction are often related to disharmonies in these frequencies. Ambient sound therapies aim to realign these frequencies and restore positive energy flow, returning your body to a state of natural health using gongs, bells, singing bowls and other indigenous sound instruments.

In this course, you will learn both the theory behind ambient sound therapies as well as several methods for incorporating ambient sound therapy utilizing gongs and singing bowls into your lifestyle, meditation or massage practice. Sound Therapy has been practiced for thousands of years. Today, enthusiasts believe that gong baths can help reduce stress and liberate emotional blockages. Evidence suggests that certain forms of sound therapy prompt damaged human DNA strands to repair themselves. Some tones are thought to promote vitality and healing, and also to enhance happiness. Many alternative healthcare facilities such as Living Health Day Spa offer sound therapies including gong meditation to help manage various ailments. “Sound therapy is great for depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, PTSD and for healing the body, “says David Pryor with Living Health. “I do a lot of individual sessions and the results are fantastic.” This course focuses on vibration healing through the use of gongs, bells and singing bowls.
